Typeform integration

Typeform automation from submission to follow-up.

A form response is the start of something: a lead, an application, a support request. Cronable starts a workflow on every Typeform submission and can read forms and responses on a schedule, so answers end up in the sheet, CRM or task list where work actually happens.

A Typeform workflow on the canvas

Each card is one job. A wire means the next job runs when the one before it succeeds, or when it fails.

Or type it to the assistant

“When someone submits my Typeform, log the answers to my Responses sheet and tell #sales in Slack.”

What you can do

Every Typeform step Cronable ships

Actions

Steps a workflow can take in Typeform.
  • List responses

Read a form’s responses, filtered by completed or partial, a date range or a search term.

  • Get a form

Read a form’s definition, its questions and settings.

  • List forms

See your forms, optionally by workspace or search.

  • Custom request

    Any other Typeform API endpoint.

Triggers

What starts a Typeform workflow.
  • New form response

Set the form ID and Cronable registers the webhook, so each submission starts a run with every answer attached, signature-verified. Prefer no public URL? Polling mode checks the form’s responses on an interval instead.

Popular workflows

Typeform workflows worth automating first

01

Responses logged and announced

Each submission fires the Typeform trigger, a Sheets job logs the answers, and Slack tells the team in the same moment.

02

Lead scoring into HubSpot

An AI step scores each response against your criteria, and qualified leads become HubSpot contacts with the score attached.

03

Requests to tasks

Internal request forms create Asana or Trello tasks with the answers in the description and the right owner assigned.

04

Weekly feedback summary

List the week’s completed responses every Friday, let Claude pull out themes and quotes, and email the summary.

How you connect

Connecting Typeform

Typeform connects with a personal access token. Paste it once.

  1. 1Create a personal token in Typeform under Settings → Personal tokens. For the webhook trigger, give it the webhooks:write scope.
  2. 2Store it as a bearer token credential in Cronable.
  3. 3For the trigger, pick webhook mode (through Cronable’s relay, from the Basic plan) or polling mode, which needs no public URL.
Why Cronable

Your Typeform automation, on your own machine

Runs on your own machine

Install Cronable as a Mac or Windows app, or on a server you own. Your Typeform jobs, secrets and run history stay on that machine by default.

Built from one sentence

Describe the workflow in plain English and the built-in assistant builds the jobs, the schedule and the failure handling for you to review on the canvas. On every plan, including Free.

Unlimited runs

Plans count the jobs you define, not how often they fire. A job that touches Typeform every hour costs the same as one that runs once a month.

Credentials encrypted locally

Keys and tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted in a local database, referenced from jobs by name and masked out of logs and run output.

Questions

Typeform automation, answered

Can a Typeform submission trigger a workflow?

Yes. The Typeform trigger registers a form_response webhook for the form you choose and starts a run for every submission, with all the answers available to the next step.

Does it need a public URL?

Webhook mode arrives through Cronable’s hosted relay, so no port is opened on your machine. Polling mode needs no inbound connection at all: it checks the form’s responses on an interval.

Are Typeform webhooks verified?

Yes. Cronable sets the webhook’s signing secret when it registers it and verifies the signature of every response.

Where is my Typeform token stored?

Encrypted in the credential store on your own machine, referenced by name and masked in logs.

Can it read old responses?

Yes. List responses reads a form’s past submissions, filtered by date, completion or a search term.

Anything you do twice in Typeform is cronable.

Every form you copy answers out of is cronable.
