Cookie Notice

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This notice explains the few we use, why our analytics use no cookies at all, and why you will not see a cookie-consent banner on cronable.ai.

The cookies we use

We use only strictly-necessary cookies — the kind the website and secure payments cannot work without. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no advertising profile is built about you. Other security protections for the portal, such as the cross-site-request-forgery check, work through request headers rather than cookies, so they store nothing in your browser. The cookies used on cronable.ai are:

  • cronable_customer_session — a secure, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you logged in to your customer portal as you move between pages. httpOnly means scripts running in your browser cannot read it, which helps keep your session safe.
  • __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid — set by Stripe, our payment provider, on the pages where you enter card details (sign-up and billing) to detect and prevent payment fraud. They are strictly necessary to take payment securely; we do not control their contents and they are not used for advertising.

Why our analytics use no cookies

We do like to know, in broad strokes, how our website is used — which pages are popular, and whether things are working. We measure this with privacy-friendly analytics, Vercel Analytics and Plausible, that are cookieless. They store nothing on your device and produce only aggregate figures. There is no cross-site tracking and no advertising profile is built about you.

Why there is no consent banner

Consent banners exist because most sites use tracking and advertising cookies that, by law, need your agreement. We do not use any of those. The cookies used on cronable.ai are all strictly necessary — to run the portal, keep it secure and take payment safely — and cookies like these do not require consent. Our analytics are cookieless. So there is nothing to ask you to opt into — and no banner to get in your way.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You are always in control. Every major browser lets you see, block or delete cookies in its settings. Because these cookies are all strictly necessary, blocking them may stop the customer portal or secure checkout from working properly — for example, you may not be able to stay logged in or pay — but the rest of the website will be fine.
