cronable
Salesforce integration

Salesforce automation, run on infrastructure you own.

Cronable talks to your Salesforce org through the REST API: a SOQL query for the morning pipeline review, a record update when another system changes, a SOSL search when all you know is a name. The workflow and the tokens it uses live on your machine.

One workflow, end to end

A Salesforce workflow on the canvas

Each card is one job. A wire means the next job runs when the one before it succeeds, or when it fails.

Or type it to the assistant

“Every morning, find open opportunities with no activity in 7 days, draft a nudge for each and post the list to #sales.”

What you can do

Every Salesforce step Cronable ships

Actions

Steps a workflow can take in Salesforce.
  • Run a SOQL query

Read records with a SOQL statement, such as open opportunities created this week.

  • Get a record

Fetch one record of any object, standard or custom, by its ID.

  • Create a record

Insert a record from a JSON map of field API names to values.

  • Update a record

Change fields on an existing record by ID.

  • Run a SOSL search

Search across objects when you know a word but not where it lives.

  • Custom request

Call any REST path in your org, such as limits or an object’s describe, with GET, POST, PATCH or DELETE.

Triggers

What starts a Salesforce workflow.

Salesforce has no trigger in Cronable. Salesforce jobs run on a schedule, after another job, or from an event elsewhere: a Stripe payment, a form response, a new Shopify customer.

Popular workflows

Salesforce workflows worth automating first

01

Stale-deal nudger

A morning SOQL query finds open opportunities with no recent activity, Claude drafts a short nudge for each, and the digest lands in Slack.

02

Paid invoices update the pipeline

When a Stripe invoice is paid, a query finds the matching opportunity and an update moves its stage, so finance and sales read the same number.

03

Form leads as records

A Typeform or website form response creates a Lead record, with the raw answers kept for the rep to read.

04

Friday pipeline brief

Query the quarter’s pipeline every Friday and let an AI step write the one-paragraph summary leadership actually reads.

How you connect

Connecting Salesforce

Salesforce connects with OAuth, through an External Client App you register in your org.

  1. 1Register an External Client App in Salesforce (it is free); the Connect form links to the setup steps.
  2. 2Connect your org once from Settings → Secrets → Credentials. Cronable stores the tokens encrypted and refreshes the short-lived access token automatically.
  3. 3Your org’s API host is captured when you connect, so no job ever needs an instance URL.
Why Cronable

Your Salesforce automation, on your own machine

Runs on your own machine

Install Cronable as a Mac or Windows app, or on a server you own. Your Salesforce jobs, secrets and run history stay on that machine by default.

Built from one sentence

Describe the workflow in plain English and the built-in assistant builds the jobs, the schedule and the failure handling for you to review on the canvas. On every plan, including Free.

Unlimited runs

Plans count the jobs you define, not how often they fire. A job that touches Salesforce every hour costs the same as one that runs once a month.

Credentials encrypted locally

Keys and tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted in a local database, referenced from jobs by name and masked out of logs and run output.

Questions

Salesforce automation, answered

Can Cronable read and update Salesforce records?

Yes. It runs SOQL queries and SOSL searches, gets, creates and updates records, and sends custom requests to any REST path in your org.

How does Cronable authenticate with Salesforce?

With OAuth. You register an External Client App in your org and connect once; Cronable stores the access and refresh tokens encrypted on your machine and refreshes the access token when it expires.

Does it work with custom objects?

Yes. Get, create and update take any object’s API name, standard or custom, and SOQL reaches whatever your user is allowed to query.

Which Salesforce API version does it use?

v60.0 by default, so responses stay stable over time. You can pin a different version per job in Advanced mode.

Does it run inside Salesforce?

No. Cronable runs on your own Mac, Windows PC or server and calls the Salesforce API from there, so one workflow can combine Salesforce with local files, databases and tools on your network.
